Election day: November 3rd, 2026

The Local. Fighting for YOU!

Grant Wittstruck

The Local in this race, fighting for YOU to protect OUR BEACH!

WHY I’M RUNNING

I’ve dedicated years to serving our community through my involvement with numerous local boards and organizations, including:

  • Navy League of the United States – Bay County Council
  • Beach Care Services – Vice President
  • Grand Lagoon Coalition – Board of Directors
  • Florida Elite Travel Softball – Board of Directors
  • Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce – Executive Board & Treasurer
  • Panama City Beach Planning Board
  • Half-Cent Sales Tax Oversight Committee

Through these organizations, I’ve worked alongside local leaders, businesses, families, and volunteers to make Panama City Beach a better place to live. I’ve spent years attending City Council meetings, asking questions, advocating for residents, and learning firsthand how our city operates.

My commitment to serving this community didn’t begin with a campaign. It’s something I’ve been doing for years.

Proud to Support Our Navy, Our Military Families, and the Next Generation!

It’s an honor to serve on the Board of Directors of the Navy League of the United States, Bay County Council, supporting the men and women who serve our country and helping strengthen the connection between our military and our community.

I was especially proud to see this month’s issue of Seapower magazine feature a photo of me presenting a $3,000 donation from the Bay County Council to Gulf Coast State College’s STEM program, surrounded by some incredible young students!

That donation helps provide scholarships for students attending STEM camps and supports hands-on learning opportunities, including building underwater robots.

Supporting our Navy means more than honoring those who wear the uniform today. It also means investing in the next generation of engineers, innovators, and leaders who will help shape our nation’s future.

Faith. Family. Service. Community. These aren’t just words to me. They’re values I believe in and work to put into action right here in Bay County.

Proud to serve, proud to support our military, and proud to call this community home!

MY PRIORITIES

PUBLIC SAFETY

Support the men and women who protect our community, preserve the progress we have made on Spring Break, strengthen emergency preparedness, and make sure police, fire and emergency services keep pace with our growing community.

INFRASTRUCTURE

Our water, sewer, stormwater and transportation systems must be able to support the community we have today and the growth of tomorrow. We need long-term planning, measurable priorities and accountability — not simply reacting when something breaks.

QUALITY OF LIFE

Protect the things that make Panama City Beach a great place to call home: our neighborhoods, beaches, fisheries, parks, recreation, local businesses and outdoor lifestyle. Growth should improve residents’ quality of life, not diminish it.

My day 1 priorities for you!

Assessment Discount Program

I’ll push to create real relief for homesteaded residents on the city’s Fire and Stormwater Assessments. If this is your home, I believe we should be looking for ways to reduce the burden on you.

To be clear, I’m not advocating that the city collect less revenue. I’m advocating that we explore creative ways to shift more of the financial burden toward second homes and short-term rental properties rather than the full-time residents who call Panama City Beach home.

The goal is to maintain the revenue needed to fund essential city services while finding a fairer way to distribute the cost and provide relief to our year-round residents.

Free Resident Pier Access

I’ll work to bring back free City Pier spectator access for Panama City Beach residents. Our residents help make this community what it is, and enjoying our pier shouldn’t come with another fee – just like it used to be.

ALREADY WORKING FOR YOU

You don’t need to wait until Election Day to start serving your community. When residents bring me an issue, I work to get answers and help move it toward a solution.

• Breakfast Point stormwater drain — reported and addressed
• Breakfast Point crosswalk — advocated for repainting
• Neighborhood pothole concerns — reported and addressed
• Free resident parking at the County Pier — advocated for residents
• Thomas Drive / Grand Lagoon pothole concerns — worked with community partners on solutions

These aren’t promises about what I might do someday. They reflect how I approach public service today: listen, ask questions, follow up and get to work.
Imagine what we can accomplish with a seat at the table.

A LOCAL VOICE AT CITY HALL

I won’t disappear after Election Day. Whether you agree with me or not, you deserve a council member who will listen, communicate, explain major decisions and be accessible to the people who actually call Panama City Beach home.

Residents first. Always. Because Locals Matter!

Locally Endorsed

I’m incredibly thankful for the support and endorsements from so many local business owners, veterans, parents, community leaders, public servants, and neighbors who care deeply about Panama City Beach.

These relationships were built over years of living, working, raising my family, and serving in this community. Their support means more than I can say.
